Give Us Your Sashes!

You’re a historic home owner and you’ve just had the windows in your home restored. Some of

them needed new sashes created for the windows and the old ones are just sitting there. So

what happens next?

You give them to Karnage, of course! Part of historic restoration is reclamation. The art of

working with historic homes is in the preservation of their charm. This means reusing materials

when applicable. In this case, we’re talking about your home’s old window sashes.

Sometimes these pieces can be salvaged and repaired, sometimes we’d like to see their

character reused in other projects. Wherever we’re able to use them, it adds a bit of history to

the project and that’s worth keeping and protecting.

If you had your wooden windows replaced with something new or have old window sashes lying

around, you know where to send them! Save your sashes for us. We’d love to take them off your

hands.
