How To Live In A Shelter – April 8th at 1pm Location TBD

This 2 hour workshop is aimed at the younger set, or folks of any age, who may be suddenly finding themselves to be the responsible party in charge of some sort of shelter. We will go over some basic legal and insurance concepts, relevant to renters or owners. We will also go through some of the 101 level tips and tricks to avoid disaster and handle some basic living space maintenance! We will talk about exterior and interior issues, winter specific issues, appliance maintenance, basic cleaning to prevent issue, and more. Not everyone gets taught as a kid how to maintain a living space, and we want to help folks access this information! Participants will leave with a written guide and checklist in zine format! This workshop will be held on April 8th at 1pm at a location TBD in the city of Richmond.
